I just can't get a good arrangement down yet. It's gonna take awhile. BUT! I was using the bar above the table in my room as a way to hang up my scarves since I have very limited closet space. I had to think of something else because once I got all my sewing gear, fabric, and all the other crafty stuff out of storage I would need that space. I did a little searching on Pinterest (of course) and found this awesome way to hang scarves!
Here's some good news! After a couple months of preparing and looking, I have finally moved!!! I am still slowly moving in and organizing my stuff though. It's a slow process for me, because I like to have everything "in it's place". This takes me awhile to figure out just where that place is and how everything fits together. Long story short, I found another person who was looking for a roommate in her home. My bedroom is actually a large open loft on the 2nd floor. I love it!!

These yarn balls are literally all over the internet now a days. I always see tons of them on Pinterest and most of them are just pictures giving very vague instructions. So, I put together a tutorial for everyone on how I made these yarn balls for a wedding. They ended up being the center pieces on the tables. I tried and tried a few different ways on how to get these to turn out just right. I did a lot of research on the different methods. Glue and water mixture, spray glue, and starch were the three most abundant ways people were saying worked best.
It's time for my first pinterest post reviews! I was going through a crap ton of my craft photos trying to figure out what posts to give to you guys while I am searching for my own place. Until I get my own place, my crafts are put to a halt. So, I am going through some past ones that I've done and that I have pictures of.
This post will be about two pinterest pins that I am sure all you obsessive pinners have seen or at least came across. First is the DIY flag tank top and the other is the 4th Of July Trifle. First I am going to start of with my failure. The tank top. Gosh... it was a disaster. Heres the original pin that I went off. It was very well done. I read it a couple times before I decided to try it out. In the end... my tank top did not turn out so well. There could be a number of reasons. Let me show you guys the pictures I took while I was making it. I didn't take as many as I would have hoped. I wasn't planning a blog when I had started these projects. :( Sadly, not many step by step pictures like I normally have. |
